1985 photos of Pitcairn by Jim Russell
Jim Russell was a Vice-President of the Pitcairn and Norfolk Islands Society for many years. He was a keen amateur radio operator (VR6 JR) and produced his own QSL cards with views of Pitcairn which are very collectable today. In 1985 he was on Pitcairn Island for six months, assisting with the rebuilding of the jetty. Before and after images are shown on his cards which are included here with a selection of his photographs. The captions are taken from Jim's originals and can be seen when hovering over the thumbnail images below. Click on an image to see larger.
